It’s an antibacterial medication formulated with Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim to control and treat those bacterial infections that cause certain pesky ailments--this includes infected eyes, fin or tail rot, skin ulcerations, pop-eye, columnaris disease, and gill disease. These broad-spectrum aquarium-friendly tablets specifically help your freshwater and ornamental fish feel better in their underwater home.

Directions for use : 

Use one capsule per ten gallons of water. Dissolve directly into tank. This amount will dissolve rapidly and circulate through the water. Treatment in a hospital tank is recommended. Treat the tank every other day for a full 5 days (a minimum of 3 treatments is recommended). Repeat a full 5 day treatment after 3 days if necessary. To avoid stress to the fish due to oxygen depletion during treatment, use continuous filtration but remove carbon from the filter since it will remove, by absorption, the antibiotic from the water.
